The Bible tells us that even Jesus Himself does not know but only the Father knows (Mark 13:32).

When I heard the story, I believe it was Blasphemy.  We were even reminded that it is not for us to know the epochs and time on Acts 1 we can read :
“He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or epochs which the Father has fixed by His own authority;”

Although I know that the ending was not going to last Saturday, (May 21), at the back of my mind I can’t help but get excited knowing that the Lord is finally coming. Maranatha!

But on second thought, I am also glad it did not happen yet.  Many are still unbelievers and it would be sad to know that many are still not ready for end.

” If you are not ready to die, then you have not yet lived well.”

At the appointed time it will happen.   

We have been warned in the Bible by Jesus himself.

In Matthew 24:4-5 (NASB) we read,

And Jesus answered and said to them, ” See to it that no one misleads you. “For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many.

Do not be deceived.  There is only one Messiah.  There is only one name above all name.

Philippians 2:9-11 NASB

For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name,  so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth,  and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

     After the Service, the Ministry that I joined had our first meeting with our Pastor.

     Our Family Reunion was also scheduled today, and it was our first time to attend the Family Reunion.

     After the reunion, we prepared to attend the birthday Party of Keanna.  Their clown backed out and they were not able to hire for a new one, so they asked me if I can host the event.

    It was my first time to host an event and it was fun.  I knew we all had fun!
 

What I like most about living in the province is the gift of time as opposed to living in the city.  When we were in Manila if we planned to go somewhere we would need to allot one to two hours just for travel alone – very tiring!  In here, you can plan to go somewhere and you will be there in no time.  Sure, this place is not that big and there’s not much places or establishment that you can go to, but that’s okay for us.  We may not have “Hungry Hippo” here where my favorite Bacon sandwich is, but we have “Kitty’s” where I found my new crispy chicken sandwich.  We may not have “Tom’s World”, or big arcade places here, but we have “WOF” (World of Fun) here where the kids can also play some arcade games and ride some exciting “rides”.  Through it all, the major consideration that we had before deciding to stay here (hopefully for good) is the church.  God has been so great because we have “Bread of Life” here in Kalibo, otherwise, we would not have decided to come back and stay here. For us, if the church is present then the place is perfect!

This afternoon, my husband and I went to my son’s school because today’s the schedule for their cards to be released.  His teacher also announced the awards that our son got.  My son got a Gold for Academic Excellence! Thank God!  Aside from that, he also got special awards: Most Cooperative, Most Obedient, and Most Friendly.  God is so good!

I just pray that my son, together with all the graduating students for the school year 2010-2011 will continue to strive and fight for excellence and avoid mediocrity.
